One major danger is that we become focused on reacting to Trump and his agenda (if there is one; given both his psychology/temperament, and his lack of agreement with Republicans of various stripes, this may be a very chaotic four years) rather than focused, as I hope we would have been during a Clinton administration, on identifying issues that we feel need to be addressed, and doing what we can to address them. At least part of that -- setting our own agenda -- can still be done, and doing so gives us a place from which to look for opportunities to work with anyone in power who's willing on anything we can accomplish (locally or nationally), as well as to plan for a later future that includes elections in 2018 and 2020 that could bring more obvious/willing allies to power.
