Outcome Based Education (OBE) is a paradigm shift in traditional education model and a new learning methodology that helps teachers to plan content delivery and assessment to attain stated objectives and outcomes. OBE basically focuses on planning and organizing the activities in an educational system keeping in mind the learning outcome of students at the end of their learning practices where activities include everything starting from structuring curriculum, teaching, assessment so that learning should actually happen.

Outcome based LMS
Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12922913928031180237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6534665086749553287.post-49592389372341742082019-12-09T11:53:37.821-05:002019-12-09T11:53:37.821-05:00I agree that it is important to work backwards fro...I agree that it is important to work backwards from the learning outcome when planning a lesson. I also find that most of any lesson should be spent on student work with a succinct explanation at the start and follow up where necessary. Students do not want to listen to the teacher talk for long periods of time as that would essentially be a lecture. I do not believe that lectures are an effective way to learn.Renaissance Tutorshttps://www.renaissancetutors.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6534665086749553287.post-2502279874460237702017-05-26T00:46:02.905-04:002017-05-26T00:46:02.905-04:00OBE more stands like management by objectives. It does Restructuring, and continues to work in education today.
http://www.cloudems.in/outcome-based-education-system-software/iCloudEMShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12902198348447111538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6534665086749553287.post-87724142786083424312016-02-13T10:57:38.577-05:002016-02-13T10:57:38.577-05:00Trivium. If it is just recycled politically correct flotsam its no bettr at all. We home schooled using the time honored Trivium method and we are proud that our daughter can think and objectively assess memes for herself. Of course this sets her at odds with the sea of politically correct clones turned out by the public school system. But ecen they seem torrcognize well crafted logical rhetoric when it is presented instead of the constant propeganda we are constantly subjected to in main stream media.Christ In Mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08027270840357002218noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6534665086749553287.post-56427938291282312142015-11-30T13:35:50.833-05:002015-11-30T13:35:50.833-05:00Thanks for this. OBE arrived when I was between high school and graduate school, so I didn't experience it directly, although both my parents taught through it in central PA. When I started teaching in Rhode Island, we seemed to be transitioning seamlessly (if abruptly) from the collapse of OBE directly into the standards era, and I was never clear on what the difference was or was supposed to be. I'm not sure it isn't just an outcomes > standards > competencies re-branding.Tom Hoffmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08577165613934129833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6534665086749553287.post-45526053385005717282015-11-29T19:48:34.876-05:002015-11-29T19:48:34.876-05:00Several years ago my daughters' schools implem...Several years ago my daughters' schools implemented a CBE system, and I fell down a Rabbit Hole. Thanks to this blog, I understand why I felt bewildered and disoriented. The independent and dependent variables--time and learning--had been switched. No wonder Reality looked so different...and made so little sense.Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08617672109728978548noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6534665086749553287.post-82798780397503222012015-11-29T19:10:38.547-05:002015-11-29T19:10:38.547-05:00The idea that little Johnny is going to be captiva...The idea that little Johnny is going to be captivated by endless adaptive computer based instruction, from software definitely no better than what is around now, is most likely to produce a new generation of hackers, hell bent on sabotaging the system. And where is the combined mathematical and computing talents to create all this stuff? I foresee some serious chaos ahead, before the inevitable meltdown. I just hope that the corporate guys get their fingers really burned.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18297158336334346872noreply@blogger.com
