Autistic kids get to take different tests."<br />John Kasich on Sunday, November 2, at Dave's Cosmic Subs in Chagrin Falls.<br /><br />So I fact checked that. His kids have to pass the OGT. They attend a Christian school, not subject to all the craziness of public schools and the alphabet soup of tests and pretests and benchmark tests and progress monitoring tests. They don't use all this crap in private schools because their very existence does not hinge on student performance measured in one day. <br />I would like to see testing for ALL. All children in the state. Heck, all children in the nation, including the Obama girls. All schools forced to have their money spent on enough bandwidth and hardware instead of field trips and teachers. I think it's my right as a taxpayer that tests should be for everyone so we can compare the privileged to the underprivileged. They might ace those tests and make public schools look even worse. Then again, they might not do so hot. What would happen then?Jackie Conradhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15381347712120872904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6534665086749553287.post-64423112162209925692014-11-09T19:12:44.716-05:002014-11-09T19:12:44.716-05:00Last paragraph nails it.Last paragraph nails it.Rebecca deCocahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13168718846105012814noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6534665086749553287.post-52777545487021135542014-11-09T12:19:50.062-05:002014-11-09T12:19:50.062-05:00I would just like to see them quote some sources f...I would just like to see them quote some sources from, oh, any time in the past 50 or 100 years stating "As far as we can tell, since we have no hard data, inner city schools serving poor and minority students are doing just fine."Tom Hoffmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08577165613934129833noreply@blogger.com
