I...Amen, Amen, Amen...you hit the nail on the head! It is going to take a constant and unending pressure on our legislators (who by the way in PA start at $84,000/yr, have lavish pensions and have ever increasing budgets but they never mention those facts when they are telling everyone else to tighten their belts and how wasteful school spending is, or that PA has the second largest legislature- California is #1 with a population of 38million, PA has 12.7 million, now there is a bargain!). Our Republican controlled legislature (house and senate) is influenced by Cyber and Charter school monies and they are not listening to the few of us that speak up. I have emailed all of my local reps and all I hear is ....blah blah blah....school choice, tax dollars follow the child, we don't have a revenue problem, we have a spending problem, school boards and their out of control spending.
