Why replace experience in a real class with real students? It is another instance of what Jacques Ellul calls "the technological bluff."J. I...Somehow, I hadn't heard of this before now.

I think the idea of a virtual classroom like this has a great deal of merit, but only if developed properly.

If this could be an AI simulation that gets better and better as real teachers (and maybe students) provide feedback to the developers, and if it was used in colleges of ed. under the guidance of experienced instructors who know their way around a classroom.

Of course, that would require colleges of ed. to hire experienced instructors who know their way around a classroom, but if TFA keeps displacing real teachers, they should get easier to find.Dave Eckstromhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13521336850803352134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6534665086749553287.post-15312598729098783082016-06-14T15:56:56.707-04:002016-06-14T15:56:56.707-04:00My understanding is that behind the Teachlive curt...My understanding is that behind the Teachlive curtain is a single improvising human actor.Snavehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00791842506865658394noreply@blogger.com
