I testified in the Vergara trial ...Thanks for this! I testified in the Vergara trial in CA and was astounded at how ignorant the presiding judge was of education. He was nonplussed when I pointed out that teachers' working conditions are students' learning conditions, even asking me to repeat it so he could let it sink in. It didn't help -- he still ruled in favor of the defendants -- but thankfully it was appealed and overturned.
