The jargon thick and reasoning convoluted with "hypotheses" that x will cause y, will cause z, and that spells "success." You have a gift for cutting the chase.
I never found the information referred to in this gibberish: "Partners will be asked to report on the following outcomes and dimensions of impact, some of which may be more or less relevant depending on the nature of the proposed partnership. The specific measures of these outcomes, especially the Levers of Change and Student Impact outcomes, will be co-created in collaboration with a research and technical assistance partner (see below) to ensure that individual partners can learn about their own impact and the field can gain a broader set of learnings around how effective curriculum implementation services drive changes for educators and students."
There was no see below.
The unknown research and technical assistance partner is certain to be a hired hand for the Gates Foundation doing some helicopter hovering. Has this gas-bag ever done a Google search?

As far as content-specific PD . . .Ha! Only a true ignoramus would think that PD is a solution.

Once again we see and edu-fakir to failing to ask "why?" some kids are struggling in school. Take my advice Bill, pedagogy is rarely the problem.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
